MANY NATIONS TRIBE
|
First and fore most. Shortly after forming the tribe in September of 1998 Chief Redelk of this tribe became well known and people he had never met came out of the wood work posting about me on the net. Sadly, they most likely have me mixed up with a LOT of others who like the name Red Elk.
There are many others who call them selves "Red Elk".
A person whom I do not know nor have ever met has posted on the net that I am a fraud. Sadly he is dead wrong about me and his war may be with another Red Elk and since he does not know me it's easy for him to believe we are one and the same...
I suggest Educated Indian become more educated, tolerant, and kind. We need no war from within..
Next time you read something bad about Chief Redelk remember I am NOT THAT GUY....
That would be like saying all "Smiths" are bad..
Many BIA card carrying natives use the card to validate themselves and it may be some believe Indians who do not carry a card are fake and frauds..
BIA cards did not appear until the late 1800's..So before that did we ask Indians to PROVE who they are. I believe a man should know who he is..
Since many ancestors of Indians feared numbers and reservations and did not register with the BIA many of their descendants have been cast aside, made fun of as wanna be's, and branded as fakes. Sadly these "Real Indians" have been cast aside by BIA tribes and to some extend by the other races.
For that reason people whom I do not know have never met have come out of the wood work calling "Chief Redelk of the Many Nations Tribe a fake and worse a fraud.
I feel this may be "Indian Prided" or it may be based upon protecting some form of money or benefits.
There are many "Ghost Children" the descendants of Indians long forgotten, who feel a need to be in a tribe. They have been cast aside branded as being of a different race but knowing in their hearts the are Native American. All they want is to have some roots and at least become tribal again.
Keeping that in mind Chief Redelk and friends created Many Nations Tribe / Church of Many Nations as a home for the cast aways.
Not unlike Ms. Betty Jumper, who in 1964 formed the tribe of Seminole who were not BIA recognized till 1964. Their name simply meant "Run away's" and were mostly Creek Indians and many mixed..
In this melting pot called USA there are few full blood humans..
To create a home for the "Ghost Children" we are recognized as a non profit organization. We adopt into the tribe those who can't prove blood line and or those who choose to be a part of us..
Our focus is NOT on government hand outs or old treaties.
We simply want to be a part of a bigger family and we simply wish to learn and honor the traditions of our ancestors.
We may have lost the validation of the invading government but we refuse to let go of our sweat lodge, our pipe, our drums, our rattles and our belief system. To be able to legally gather and have our meetings unmolested we formed our non profit status..
We DO NOT nor wish to be card carrying BIA Indians and we do not seek cards....
We do not seek to have a casino or gambling.
We do not wish to be a part of Other tribes because we are own OWN tribe..
We reserve the right to practice old traditions and also to create new and good traditions for OUR tribe.
Most of our members are mixed bloods hence the name "Many Nations".
It is not important to prove your blood line and even if you are of a different race we may adopt you.
We believe what's inside your heart makes you who you are.
We do not want to fight with anyone.
We do not seek to be a part of a BIA tribe. We respect them as who they are and we simply wish they would respect us as who we are and their members not call us a fraud for being who we are.....
We wish to form our tribe, have OUR meetings, and be unmolested..
Why anyone would have a problem with that is beyond my imagination..We are NO threat to anyone.
We are a peaceful, kind, loving people..Tolerant of all..
To tell you more about this tribe, Many Nations Tribe was established as a tribal home for decendants of Native Americian People who have no way of proving it to the established government who we are..
As a tribe we provide a tribal home for people of low blood quantum and or questionable or non proveabable Native Americian ancestry and we adopt those who wish to be included in a tribe.
We are a family oriented organization. We are dedicated to the preservance of our ancestorial traditions.
We are not a cult, we do not do illegal drugs. We do not fight other religions. We are NOT anti government.
We are simply kind to everyone and our focus is on creating a better society of happy people who can love their neighbor as their selves.
